At 08h00, following an emergency call, the Sea-Eye (Mission 7) rescued 132 people from a damaged rubber boat and took them on board. The group included two pregnant women, one of whom needed to be stabilised, and a man who required medical care for exhaustion.

In the evening the 132 people were transferred to the Golfo Azzurro, all doing reasonably well.

The Seefuchs  (Mission 2) was also involved in an intense rescue operation and provided directly for at least 145 people.
