The documentary “Route 4<\/a>” describes the life-threatening journey people take upon themselves to reach Europe via Libya. The film crew of Boxfish Films accompanied Sea-Eye on 4 missions for more then 15 months. They acted as media team on the sea rescue ship ALAN KURDI and learned first-hand about the problems, adversities and difficulties of people embarking on this journey.<\/p>\n

But the film goes far beyond the events in the Mediterranean and describes the dangerous routes that people have to take through various African countries. The result is a moving documentary that has won many awards.<\/p>\n

We want to give you an insight into what is happening in the Mediterranean. Together with Humans before Borders<\/a> we bring this documentary to Porto. Ana Paula Cruz, Porto based activist and humanitarian doctor will be available for Q&A after the film. You are cordially invited to attend.<\/p>\n
