><p>In October 2020, Sea-Eye purchased an offshore supply vessel (built in 1972) with the support of the United4Rescue sea rescue coalition to convert it for rescue operations.<\/p>\n<p>The design of the SEA-EYE 4 is very well suited for sea rescue operations and provides plenty of space for the first aid of rescued people. The on-board infirmary complies with modern standards and is prepared for potential corona cases.<\/p>\n<p>To carry out rescue operations, the SEA-EYE 4 has two cranes which can lower the two speedboats \u2018RHIBs\u2019 safely into the water. In the event of an emergency, the RHIBs will approach people in distress, distribute life jackets and evacuate unseaworthy vessels.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
