Sea-Eye Academy

The Sea-Eye Academy organizes online events on a wide range of topics related to civil sea rescue, migration, and activism. We aim to educate the public, raise awareness about the situation in the Mediterranean, and effectively advocate for the protection of human rights.

Our Work

Trainings

Through our events, we aim to empower all those who work on land or at sea to support civil sea rescue and the rights of those seeking protection—by providing background information on migration and civil sea rescue, offering tips for local activism, and addressing the issue of racism.

Informing & Connecting

The Sea-Eye Academy serves as a space for exchange and connection among interested individuals, activists, and experts who focus on issues related to refugees and migration at Europe’s external borders.

Head of Mission

The Head of Mission (HoM) Trainee Program provides comprehensive preparation for Sea-Eye’s future operational leaders. Various departments at Sea-Eye collaborate to design the program, highlighting the aspects they consider most relevant to help candidates develop the ability to make well-informed, cross-team decisions during missions.
