Let's Save Lives

Civil sea rescue does not begin at sea.

Our work thrives on the collaboration of many people: our full-time teams establish structures, coordinate operations, and ensure stability. Volunteers contribute their time, energy, and dedication. It is only by working together that we make civil sea rescue possible.

Support our work from the shore by becoming a volunteer or staff member with Sea-Eye.

Our Basecamp in Licata

The base camp in Licata, Sicily, is the heart of our search and rescue operations. It serves as the central logistics hub in Licata for the SEA-EYE 5 and plays a key role in ensuring smooth preparations, resupply, and rest between missions.

Here, crews prepare for their operations, relax after their time at sea, and remain integrated into all operational structures. Established in October 2024, the base camp has evolved into a versatile and well-organized facility that supports both the ship’s operational requirements and the well-being of the crews during their stay in port.
